Narrative description of Project:
The project entails updating two of the seven “Green Booklets” on FP first drafted in 1990,
namely “The Overview of the Philippine Population Program” and the “Role of the Department of Health in
the Family Planning Program.” This exercise is one of the benchmarks of the POLICY Project under USAIDS/Manila’s
Results Package 2 (Strengthening National Systems to Promote the FP Program)

1. Coordinate meetings/workshops of both the Technical Working group and Technical Review Committee
to draft the national FP strategy.
2. Prepare a report on the results of the exercise.
