The project involved a comprehensive study of DOH Logistics.

1. Assessed the relevance of the available “Logdams Study” to the present logistics situation and demands.
2. Reviewed current logistics procedures and management policies.
3. Analyzed logistics requirements of various health programs.
4. Evaluated the implications of the Local Government Code (LGC) on the current logistics environment and formulation of appropriate policy
responses.
5. Established linkages with other DOH systems (e.g. information system, communication system) and formulated recommendations to enhance these.
6. Identified and evaluated management options to DOH, including the
possible use of private contractors in some or all phases of the logistics cycle.
7. Evaluated the manpower, information systems, and infrastructure
